For best results, slightly roughen glossy surfaces
Ambient temperature should be between -10°C and 40°C; avoid high humidity conditions
Mixing Ratio:
For 1L container, add approximately 45ml of hardener (included with purchase)
Mixing Process:
Add the appropriate amount of hardener
Mix thoroughly and vigorously until uniform color is achieved
If color matching is needed, add color paste or metal oxides before adding hardener
Application:
For bonding, apply to both surfaces and press firmly together
For filling, overfill slightly and then sand/polish after curing
Secure the pieces in place until initial set
Important Notes:
Excessive hardener (>3%) may cause discoloration and reduce bonding strength
Keep container tightly sealed after use
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
Curing Time:
Full cure: 24 hours

A1: Tenax is the original Italian brand since 1956 with specialized formulation for natural stone. It offers superior adhesion, minimal shrinkage, excellent polishability, and color stability unmatched by generic products. It maintains good reactivity even in cold conditions and has thixotropic properties for vertical applications.
A2: Add 2-3% hardener by weight of the mastic. For a standard 1L container, use the included 45ml hardener bottle. Do not exceed 3% as it may cause discoloration and reduced bonding strength.
A3: Yes, Tenax marble adhesive has good weather resistance and UV stability, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. However, it should not be used for structural bonding such as stone cladding anchoring.
A4: At 23°C, initial set occurs in 15-30 minutes. Full cure is achieved in 24 hours, after which the surface can be polished to a natural stone gloss. Curing time may vary with temperature and humidity.
A5: Yes, Tenax offers various standard colors including transparent, white, beige, black, red, and green. For custom color matching, add color paste or metal oxides to the mastic before adding hardener.
A6: Absolutely. The thixotropic formula prevents sagging on vertical surfaces, making it ideal for wall applications, vertical seams, and overhead work.
